You'll taste the difference.

Most grocery store blueberry varieties were chosen for their ability to stand up to long shipping journeys.

We take a different approach. Our berries are grown in Oregon's lush Willamette Valley - not halfway around the world.

And the varieties we grow were chosen for their sweet, juicy flavor, high antioxidant levels, and nutrient density.

This means the berries you and your family enjoy are healthy, plump, and bursting with flavor.

It starts with soil

We live by the idea that healthy soil is essential for growing nutritious berries.

Blueberries, like any plant, draw nutrients out of the soil in order to survive (and thrive). That means the nutrients in the soil determine the nutrients that end up in the fruit.

In other words, you aren't what you eatyou are what your food eats!

Right plant, right place

We know that healthy soil isn't built with fertilizers and pesticides. That's why we grow several highbush blueberry varieties that are native to North America.

Highbush blueberries are well suited to our Pacific Northwest climate and thrive with minimal inputs (like fertilizers).

This balanced approach allows us to extend our growing season. And we can harvest berries at their ripest, reducing the time from picking to your plate.

A balanced ecosystem

We work to foster abundant wildlife habitat on all our farms, creating riparian zones along waterways and building hedge rows.

To deter pests, we focus on carbon neutral methods. Usually, when people think about pests & farming they assume we mean insects.

But birds, just like us, love juicy blueberries. To keep them away from the orchard we use small, solar powered devices that emit sounds unpleasant to a bird’s ear.
